Hanna’s history! September 6, 2008

Filed under: my world — Lily @ 5:39 pm

A little rain, a lot of wind, and Hanna’s history!  My favorite yard didn’t even have the usual puddling!  Those TV weather humans were sure making it sound like it was gonna be this real big deal.  Humph.  I coulda told them it wasn’t going to be anything to write home about (BOL) but they woudn’t have listened to me.  Oh well.  Someday humans other than our moms and our dads will listen!  🙂

    Hi Buddy,

I think Weatherfolk have to have a degree in “Stupid Human” to get the job. Our local weather guy.. we shall just call him Mr Stupid.. because he is!… forecast on Thursday that we were in for a months worth of rain spread out over the weekend and that temps would drop considerably.. well it rained all day Friday, then was dry with a cloudy start then sunny on Saturday and today it’s been blistering hot without even a cloud in the sky!!

He couldn’t have got it more wrong if he tried!

    I concur.. humans are stupid!

    Great to meet you

    smooches and tailwags,

    Ben xxxx

    Hi Ben!

Not all humans are stupid– my mom’s pretty smart. After all, out of all the dogs she could have had, she picked me! BOL

    Hi Buddy,

Well, we think those rains you;re having started down here where we live in South Florida!! Sorry!!!

Our folks were in Norfolk and Hampton just about a year ago — in late September — and love the area.

One of our older blogs (from last fall) has photos of all the mermaids in Portsmouth, one of your nearby cities.

Glad to meet you, and hope you;ll come visit when you have some free time.

    Hello Jake and Just Harry!

Glad ya stopped by! I’ll try to stop by first chance I get.

And the rains weren’t your fault! That silly tropical storm formed up hundreds of miles away from either of us and then just started traveling. I’m just glad there was no serious damage. 🙂

  5. G’day Buddy

It’s great that Hanna didn’t get you too wet! But Hey! Now I know who to ask next time the WeatherDude predicts a storm! 😉

  6. Buddy Says:

I dunno, Charlie! We’re in different hemispheres… I don’t know if my weather predicting abilities will reach that far!! BOL

  7. River Says:

We got some wild wind for about an hour. Glad you didn’t get too much weather there.

    love & wags,

  8. Buddy Says:

Thanks, River– hope the winds didn’t bother you too much, falling tree limbs, etc. 🙂
